Ingrown Hair
Pain in the coccyx, swelling, redness and discharge occurs with complaints. It is a very common disease in our country. The most effective treatment method is surgery. Our patients may postpone treatment because of the occasional regression of complaints (such as discontinuation of the discharge). In this case, the disease progresses and the treatment becomes difficult. Therefore, it is important to seek treatment without delay after diagnosis.
Surgery can be performed completely under general anesthesia or by spinal anesthesia. Different surgical methods can be used. All methods are told to the patient and they decide the most appropriate method.
Patients need about 2 weeks rest after surgery. Sometimes this time may be shorter depending on the method applied and the working conditions of the patient.
There is a low possibility that the disease will reappear after surgery. In such a case, reoperation is recommended.
